If you use another internet service provider (such as AOL, CompuServe, etc.) for accessing your CSU email from home, you will not be able to use Eudora, Outlook or other clients to send email without making changes to your account set-up. You will be able to receive mail, but you will not be able to send mail unless you change your SMTP server address on your home PC. You will need to contact your Internet provider and ask them for the SMTP server for outgoing mail (This is often found on their website under FAQs).
Once you have this, go into your email account and change the SMTP or Outgoing server address to that given by your provider (CSU's SMTP/Outgoing server is stmp-server.csuohio.edu)
Unfortunately, some service providers, such as AOL, do not use SMTP servers. If you are using one of these service providers, you will not be able to continue using your CSU email account for sending messages.
