Installation by a certified HP Contractor for Desktop and Notebook Computers is now included in the purchase price. Installation will include unboxing the unit, hooking the parts up, connecting it to the network (or wireless for notebooks), mapping existing network drives, hooking up a local printer and/or scanner that is part of the University’s Managed Print Services Program, and installing a lockdown if also requested.
The transfer of data from the old computer to the new one is an additional $14.00 which covers up to 10 GB of data transfer from one folder (i.e. my documents) and shortcuts stored in one folder. Data in excess of this amount or data stored in more than one location will result in additional costs. If you need lockdown equipment, the lockdown hardware is additional and can be requested when you order your computer.
