How To Get the Software
for Student or Employee Home Use

Where to Get the Software:

The software is available at the CSU Bookstore, 2400 Euclid Avenue across from Fenn Tower.

Meet the Conditions:

In order to obtain software available under the Microsoft Academic Student Select Agreement at Cleveland State University, you will need to meet these eligibility conditions:

  • Be a registered student as outlined on the Eligibility page.
  • Have a CSU Student or Employee VIKINGCARD.
  • Have a printed and signed copy of the license agreement (see below)

Sign the Agreement:

Next, you'll need to get a copy of the license agreement:

  • Print a copy of the license agreement. You'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader software.
  • Read the agreement. If you understand and agree to the terms, you will be asked to sign an original where you pick up the software. You will not be able to obtain software without a signed agreement with your name on it.

Purchase the Software:

Students may purchase the following software products:

a.       Office 2003 Win32 All Languages MVL

b.      Office Mac 10.0 All Languages MVL

c.       Office Mac 2004 All Languages MVL

d.      Office Mac Pro 10.0 All Languages MVL

e.       Office Pro 2003 Win32 All Languages MVL

f.        Windows XP Professional All Languages UPG MVL

Faculty and staff may borrow installation media for work at home use rights by contacting the IS&T Call Center.

NOTE: Faculty and Staff only have rights to this software during their employment with the University. If at any point they leave the employment of Cleveland State for any reason, including retirement, all rights to the software end. Software installed on a home computer must immediately be removed or destroyed. Software installed at home must only be used for work-related purposes.
