Documentation
Online Documentation for Operating Systems:
From within Windows, you can select help from the start menu.
The first time you launch any of the Office products, you will see what is called an "Office Assistant" open up in the lower right hand corner of the screen. At any time you can click on this icon and type in a phrase or question. You will also see a help menu at the top of the screen.
Unfortunately, printed documentation is not included in the CSU Microsoft Enterprise License Agreement. The University Bookstore carries a wide selection of third-party Microsoft documentation from publishers such as Que, Osborne, DDC, and the IDG Dummies series, as well as titles from Microsoft Press. The bookstore also can special-order materials that they do not have in stock.
Patches & Updates:
Many of the products covered by the Microsoft Enterprise License
Agreement have patches and updates that should be applied after installation. Please visit the Microsoft support site to see what patches and updates are available.
