
DIRECTORY OF INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIPS
This database is a reference guide for students, faculty, staff, and administrators as well as interested personnel. Internship sponsors include two and four year colleges/universities, government agencies, non-profit groups, private organizations, and corporations. This edition was edited at the University of Michigan by the Office of International Studies and Programs and the Center for International Business and Research (CIBER) of the Eli Broad College of Business.
Internships in Germany
This program allows CSU students to spend 3-6 months in Germany as part of the Berufsakademie Heidenheim internship program. Heidenheim has strong relationships with all types of industries, banks, and non-profit organizations and can offer internships in medium-sized local agencies to large, international firms. Internships are offered in the fields of Business, Mechanical Engineering, IT,and Social Work.
Eligibility
Minimum 2.0 GPA. 1-year college German or the equivalent. CSC 121 prerequisite. Full-time enrolled, upper-level student. Application approved and accepted by CSU and BA Heidenheim.
Fees
Approximately $1,200 which includes airfare, passport fees, and insurance. These costs are the responsibility of the student. Inters receive a monthly stipend of approximately $650 which is adequate to cover basic living expenses in Germany.
Housing
BA Heidenheim works with intern to arrange housing with host family, in student residence or in private apartment. Intern is responsible for paying monthly rent and for his/her own meals.

Anglo-American Services
Anglo-American Educational Services of London is one of the largest providers of student accomodations and educational support services in London. Anglo-American provides U.S. students opportunities for internships and student teaching in London. Internships are available for 25- 35 hours of work per week during the academic year and eight to ten week placements in the summer. Student teaching placements are available during the fall and spring semesters. Internship opportunities are available in business, health care organizations, social agencies, public relations, and communications among others. Anglo-American will identify placements and provide supervision and arrival orientation.
Eligibility
Minimum 2.75 GPA. Submission of an official transcript, application and resume. Written approval and acceptance by CSU.
Housing and Fees
Anglo-American will provide clean, modern, fully furnished living facilities for both programs. Housing costs, transportation, food, airfare, administration fee, and personal expenses are the responsibilities of the student. The number of credits earned and tuition costs are determined and controlled by the student's home university.
AustraLearn Internships Internships are available in different fields and areas of study including: Biology, Business and Finance, Communications, Eco-Tourism, Environmental Economics, Event Management, Information Technology, International Education, Law Practice, Legal Aid, Marine Ecology, Marketing, Public Affairs, Public Relations, Social Welfare, Special Education, Sports Journalism, Student Teaching, Television News, Terrestrial and Freshwater Ecology, Youth Services, Zoology/Veterinary Science.
- Internships are 10 weeks in duration
- Available summer, spring, or fall
- Home stay or shared apartment-housing cost is included in program fees. Meals are extra
- 2 day orientation program with information on Australian work environments, office culture, city transportation and attractions, culture shock, and more.
Eligibility
Students must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to participate and be in good standing at CSU.
Housing and Fees
AustraLearn prearranges housing for you prior to arrival. The housing cost (not including meals) in included in the program fees. Housing will be located as close to the internship site as possible. Students will most likely not be sharing accommodation with other interns. In order to facilitate cultural immersion, housing will generally be in a homestay style setting with an Australian individual or family.
WISE International Internships
WISE Abroad is a non-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination of global awareness and understanding among college students, recently graduated college students and educators through work-and-travel programs abroad, international internships and study abroad programs.
