CSU in Paris

Program Fully-Enrolled!
International Study and Company Tour
January 6 - 15, 2009

Program Description

This study tour provides students the opportunity to learn French culture and business practices while visiting companies in many sectors of the French business community. It is intended to broaden a student’s awareness of the international business climate.

This course relies on experiential learning. Learning will take place in four 2 hour class sessions and in one-on-one sessions with students as they make progress on their projects.

Academic Program

Students enroll in a 3 hour Field Experience Abroad class, MKT 696 for Graduate students and INB 491 for Undergraduate students. The classes are taken during the winter break, but are part of the Spring Semester.

During the fall semester, students prepare research proposals at CSU, and attend a series of classes before departure. During the study tour, students will attend presentations from global corporations. On return, students will be required to develop a comprehensive written project report, which is due February 20, 2009.
