AT Lab Computer Configuration

The AT Lab has 6 workstations. 5 of the workstations have scanners; 3 large bed Epson GT15000 scanners with an 11x17 inch scan bed, 2 Epson 4490 scanners with a regular scan bed, and 1 Epson 4490 with an ADF. All are networked to a black and white LaserJet printer, a Tiger Emprint Braille Embosser, and a Juliet Braille embosser. Two of the workstations have 20 inch monitors attached to monitor arms. The other 4 workstations have 24 inch monitors.

Deep Freeze is a program that is installed on each computer to prevent damaging software from being installed on our computers. When the computers are restarted the computer is restored back to its previous settings. If you for some reason need to save files to the computer that you are working on you will need to save them to a special location call Thawspace to prevent them from being deleted when the computer reboots.
