The fee for the RN – Pre-Admission Examination is $45.00 cash, money order or check made payable to Cleveland State University.  This fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE.  Completed Registration Applications and fees must be received (not postmarked) in our office by the Close of Registration date and no later than 4:00pm.  Seating capacity will be limited to the first 30 applications received per test date.

A notice with the reporting address for the exam date you requested will be mailed to you as a confirmation.  The TEAS item format is multiple choice with 4 response options.  The content is as follows:

Reading	40 items	50 minutes
Mathematics	45 items	56 minutes
Science	30 items	38 minutes
English & Language Usage	55 items	65 minutes
Departmental Essay	2 paragraphs	30 minutes

Allow yourself 3 hours & 45 minutes to complete the examination.  No calculators are allowed for the examination.  Must show a valid photo identification at the door.  Scratch paper will be supplied by the Testing Center.  There is a 2 week waiting period to retest.

Study guides (36.95) can be purchased from Assessment Technologies Institute’s web site www.atitesting.com expect the study guide to arrive in 3-5 business days.  For $30.00 (price might have changed) you can purchase (2) 100 item practice tests to be used at your discretion.
