Choices Planner is an online career self-assessment and management tool available to CSU students and alumni at no cost.
The program offers online self-assessments for interests, transferable skills, and work priorities and suggests related occupations based on the user's responses. It provides information about more than 7,000 colleges and descriptions of over 2,000 occupations, which makes it valuable for research.
Choices Planner also provides links to college Web sites, job banks, financial aid resources, and other career sites. The Dynamic Planner and electronic portfolio can be used to document skills, track school-to-career activities, build resumes, practice interviewing skills, and to create a job search or career action plan. Users may choose to view the Choices Planner Magazine, which provides information on "hot" careers, industry profiles, interviews with workers "on the job," and an archive of career development questions and answers.

The instrument is a valuable career counseling tool for those who may be unsure of which career path to follow or which major to choose. The instrument is administered, scored, and interpreted by a Qualified MBTI® professional who has completed training with the Association for Psychological Type.
