Prerequisites: Either currently majoring in biology or chemistry, and completion of a year of introductory biology, biochemistry, cell biology and laboratory, microbiology and laboratory, calculus; or a baccalaureate degree that includes the following courses; a year of introductory biology, biochemistry, cell biology and laboratory, microbiology and laboratory, a year of general chemistry, organic chemistry, and calculus.

Prerequisites: Either currently majoring in chemical engineering, or college coursework that includes the following: a year of general chemistry, two years of calculus and advanced math, and courses in thermodynamics, material and energy balances, transport phenomena, and reactor design.
