1. Know the basic physical concepts and laws of Mechanics, Electromagnetism and Optics, Thermal and Statistical Physics, and Quantum Physics. Be able to apply those concepts and laws to the description of concrete problems. Be able to present, in a coherent manner in written format, an analysis of a scientific topic. (The written analysis portion will be reviewed in AY 2006-7). |
