Description of Work
This study reviews the exterior masonry of the Physical Education Building built circa 1972. The study was notes that the exterior masonry has moved by observation of deterioration of the joints and the sealant. In addition, numerous vertical cracks and deflection of the brick exterior were observed. Observation openings were made in the Brick fascia and the insulation and air space were compromised with water due to the movement and failure of the sealant and flashing. The structural engineer engaged to observe the damage noted that the east and south walls should be repaired within a year of the report dated 11/17/10.
