Scholarships
By far, the most important project for the growth and transformation of Cleveland State University and the lives of our students is scholarships. Great universities attract great students. Their campuses are populated with the highly motivated, intensely curious men and women who will take full advantage of their educational opportunities to become the leaders and transformative figures of their generation. Dramatically increasing both merit and need-based scholarships will enable us to attract and retain exactly such students… including those who might naturally gravitate to other universities. Students are the lifeblood of this institution, so it should go without saying that they are our ultimate priority. Competitive funds are critical to keeping the brightest students in Cleveland and to giving graduate students support while carrying out their research and writing their dissertations.
