New Pathway Internship Scholarships
Donors can make a very big difference – not just for a student but for an entire region – by contributing to our New Pathway program. With this, donors can provide students with basic scholarship support as part of a program that includes internships in the junior and senior years. Beyond the financial help the scholarship assistance provides, the added benefit to the region under New Pathway is the job preparedness and training it includes – internships and co-ops that are relevant to the student's educational goals as well as the economic needs of the region.
More than 50 percent of the students graduating from Cleveland-area colleges will leave Northeast Ohio to pursue employment opportunities in their home cities or elsewhere. Attracting motivated students to our campus, providing them with the skills and talents they need to satisfy the work force demands of Northeast Ohio, and keeping them in the region after they graduate are among Cleveland State’s top priorities. The New Pathway program helps to accomplish this goal.
