Welcome to the Winter Edition of the Parent Connection Newsletter!
It's been a cold winter but anticipation for spring semester is heating up as staff and faculty across the CSU campus are prepared to welcome your students back! With fall semester complete and 2011 already here, spring brings with it a semester of new opportunity. Students can look forward to a fresh start with new and exciting classes, the March Career Fair that offers job and internship opportunities, fun Rec Center events and intramurals, as well as Viking spring sports. Many students are also looking forward to graduation in May!

Chillfest
Each year, CSU's Department of Student Life launches a weeks worth of fun events to welcome students back to campus for spring semester. This year, Chillfest features performers, athletic events, student club fairs, Convocation and more! The events run January 18-28.
Mid-Term Grades
Mid-term grades will be posted on CampusNet accounts March 7-13 for first-year students only. We encourage you to check in with your student to make sure he or she is studying hard and on track towards graduation!

Spring Open House
Do you have another child who may be interested in attending CSU? The University will open its doors on April 2 to prospective students and parents. Highlights include student-led campus tours, information sessions, and admissions and college representatives available to answer questions.
