Cleveland State University will host the Third Annual Government Career Day on Friday, March 26 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Woodling Gym, located at 2451 Euclid Ave.
The event is free and open to the public, students and Cleveland State alumni. The purpose of the event is primarily educational, giving participants a chance to learn about the many different agencies available and the types of qualifications that are needed in order to be a competitive applicant.
Agencies will provide information about their missions, responsibilities and the qualifications of typical positions. Some agencies will be recruiting for internships, local positions, or positions in other geographic areas, while other agencies may not be actively recruiting.
As in past years, numerous government agencies will be in attendance including the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, FBI, Social Security, Department of Energy, NASA, Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Department of Veteran Affairs, Ohio Department of Transportation, and multiple other federal, state, and city agencies.
