“Global E-Commerce Certificate Program,” a collaboration between Cleveland State University’s Nance College of Business Administration, Berufakademie, Germany, and the Universidad de Concepcion, Chile, has won the Mid-Continent East AACSB 2008 Innovation in Business Education Award. AACSB is the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Santosh Misra, Chairperson and Professor of Computer and Information Science, and Colette Hart, Director of Business Outreach in Nance College, designed and managed the program. The award carries with it a cash prize for the program managers and a matching prize for Nance College. The award funds will be donated back to the program to support the Nance College students that participate in the Global E-Commerce Certificate program.

Colette Hart and Lorena Pradena, from the University of Concepcion in Chile, will present the innovative program at the Mid-Continent East AACSB annual meeting October 12-14 in Chicago.
