Maria Pla, Piano, holds Cum laude bachelor and master of music degrees in piano performance from Cleveland State University where she currently teaches applied piano and keyboard skills classes. Ms. Pla has appeared in the United States, Cuba and South America as a recitalist and lecturer. Ms. Pla was recently featured in recital as part of the Hispanic Awareness Week at Cleveland State University. She has studied chamber music with Ted Johnson and piano with Andrius Kuprevicius, Nancy Bachus and Apikia Shaw. Previously, Maria studied at the International Conservatory of Music in Havana, Cuba. She has taught on the piano faculty at the Cleveland Music School Settlement and Baldwin Wallace.
