Dr. Victor Liva, Assistant Professor of Violin, Coordinator of String Studies, and Conductor of Orchestras, holds degrees from Wilkes University (BM), Temple University (MM), and the University of South Carolina, where he earned the Doctorial of Musical Arts Degree in Conducting under the tutelage of Dr. Donald Portnoy.

Dr. Liva has conducted various youth, college, and professional orchestras, including the Symphony and Chamber Orchestras of the Encore Music Camp of Pennsylvania, the Wilkes University Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, the Sinfonia Youth Orchestra, the Scottsdale Symphony, the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, and is the former Director of Orchestras at Northern Arizona University. He has conducted festivals in Arizona, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, and is currently on the conducting staff at the Performing Arts Institute of Wyoming Seminary in Kingston, Pennsylvania. He is the former assistant concertmaster of the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra, and is a former member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic, the Harrisburg Symphony, the Haddonfield Symphony, the Augusta Symphony, the Augusta Opera, and others.
