Campus Horn Guidelines

The Campus Horn is a bi-weekly email that contains announcements for students, faculty and staff, as well as information on upcoming events around the University and Cleveland.

Submission Procedure

The new Campus Horn submission form will make it easier for faculty and staff to submit announcements and events. And the newly designed Campus Horn will make finding announcements and events much simpler because all details will be included in the body of the email, making it easier to see all information in one place!

Simply click here to fill out your announcement information and the audience you wish to send it to (all students, all faculty/staff, or both).

 

Criteria for Announcements
  • Campus Horn submissions must come from a CSU faculty or staff member. Students should submit announcements and events via OrgSync.

  • Only announcements received via the Campus Horn submission form will be included

  • The announcement cannot be of a commercial or personal nature

  • Announcements must be in English

  • No events where alcohol is served will be promoted to students

  • Announcements cannot contain attachments or images, however you are able to use the URL field to link to a file or attachement hosted on your own site

  • Format all announcements to be a summary paragraph. Do not submit bulleted and numbered lists because they tend to create formatting issues when converted into the emails

  • University Marketing reserves the right to edit submissions for content and format, as needed

Friday at noon to be listed in Monday’s Campus Horn
Wednesday at noon to be listed in Thursday’s Campus Horn
