This experience provides a great opportunity to think about and evaluate various forms of social justice and injustice present in structures of significance, and consider the development of new policies that better meet human needs. Many of the world’s cultures and languages will be presented through lectures, demonstrations, videos and films as part of this Learning Community experience. Examine these cultural social issues and how they influence contemporary issues in the United States through the lenses of education and social policies. Special projects and activities will allow you to explore innovative strategies to make positive change in social, political, and economic systems.
