Yax Te' Books is the materials publishing and distribution arm of the K'inal Winik Cultural Center located at Cleveland State University.
The mission of Yax Te' is to produce and distribute books and other materials that support the use of Maya literary and cultural products in classrooms in the United States, in Maya regions, and around the world.
We focus primarily on the work of contemporary Maya writers and on materials that enhance understanding of those works. We also distribute materials about Maya languages and linguistics. Yax Té Books offers books and materials in English, Spanish, and Mayan languages.
