CSU Lab Statistics

Information Services & Technology has introduced a new system that tracks lab computer availability for the Campus General Purpose Labs. Students can check to see which labs have available computers, a useful service, especially toward the end of the semester when labs become really crowded. Check out this service at http://www.csuohio.edu/ist/labstats.shtml. This same information will soon be available on the information kiosks located around campus.

CSU Webmail and Deskmail!

We are proud to announce the completion of our email project!

This provides every student, faculty member and staff member not only a CSU email address, but a new and improved system for accessing your email. You can use this system anywhere with just a few minutes of set-up (For assistance, please see Campus Webmail Basics handout at http://www.csuohio.edu/ist/CWM%20Email%20Basics.pdf).

This new system is feature-rich, providing folders, personal as well as CSU email directories, calendaring, and many other capabilities.

You can forward your other email addresses to your CSU email to use this as your one-source for email. Student email accounts remain active for one year after leaving the university (end-of-term date one year following last active term).

With the openning of Fenn Tower in August, we will see yet another computing center for students. This one is a bit different.

Yes, it provides computers (PCs and Macs) for everyday use, but this center also has:

  • 24/7 access
  • multimedia workstations for more advanced computing
  • color printing at cost
