Scholarships Opportunities

Honors Program Scholarships: Honors Program Only

Lower Division Admits:
Lower division students (incoming freshman) admitted to the Mandel Honors College will receive a scholarship that covers full tuition at the in-state tuition rate and associated fees (e.g., lab fees, U-Pass fee).

The scholarship is renewable for a maximum of eight semesters. To remain eligible for the Honors scholarship, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5. Students who fall below this standard will be placed on Honors probation and will be dismissed from the program if the problem persists. A full explanation of the scholarship rules is available in the Honors Student Handbook.

The Honors Program scholarship REPLACES any other merit awards from the University.

Upper Division Admits:
Upper division students (current or transfer students) admitted to the Honors Program will receive a scholarship worth $5000 per academic year. The scholarship is renewable for a maximum of four semesters.

Juniors admitted to the Honors Program who were previously awarded the CSU Freshman Scholars Residence Award are still eligible for that award.  Juniors who were previously awarded a Merit Scholarship Award from CSU will have their scholarship increased to the Honors Program level of $5000 per academic year.
