Incoming Freshmen

Complete a University Scholars application form in addition to your Cleveland State University Undergraduate Application. Send your Scholars Application directly to the Honors Program Office.

Note: All incoming freshman who submit applications for the Honors Program are automatically considered for the Scholars Program. A separate application is not required.

Upper Division Students

Transfer students and current CSU students can submit a University Scholars application directly to the Honors Program office. Students should expect approximately two weeks to pass before receiving an admissions decision.

University Scholars Program Application

Application to the University Scholars Program is separate from application to Cleveland State University. To apply to the University Scholars Program simply download the University Scholars application form. You will need Adobe Reader to view and print the application.

After You Are Admitted

Expect to receive a formal letter welcoming you to our program. Upper Division students will be asked to make an appointment with their Scholars Advisor, Lauren Davis to discuss their Academic Plan. Incoming freshman will be invited to join the Scholars Program for a special new student Orientation before Fall semester begins.
