All Scholars students who begin as entering first-year students will be required to take at least 2 lower-division honors courses selected from a broad spectrum of disciplines. Each year, Scholars students may choose from a selection of specially designed honors general education courses offered in a small class format by instructors selected for their record of teaching excellence. Students will register for courses in accord with an individual Scholars plan approved by their academic advisor and the Honors Program Director.
