Dr. Lori Peterson is the Interim Associate Director of the Honors Program and an Assistant Professor of Health Care Administration in the Monte Ahuja College of Business. She teaches the undergraduate strategic management capstone course and various undergraduate and graduate health care courses. She has published in the areas of health information technology adoption, patient safety and quality, but her most recent piece discusses using the Pecha Kucha presentation format in the classroom. Originally from Oklahoma, she earned a BS in International Business from the University of Denver, and MBA in International Management from the University of Dallas, and a PhD in Management from Texas Tech University.

Ronnette Johnson joined the Honors Program staff in June 2005. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degree from Cleveland State University. She has worked in the field of academic advisement for over fourteen years as a pre-college and college advisor for middle school, high school and college students. In addition to her employment here at CSU, she has gained invaluable experience from other educational institutions such as David N. Myers College, Cleveland Scholarship Programs, Inc. (College Now), and Case Western Reserve University.

Lauren Davis earned her BA in English and her Masters of Education in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University in 2004 and 2006, respectively. She has worked as the University Scholars Advisor at CSU for over four years, advising both Scholars and Honors students. She also advises the freshman national honor society, Alpha Lambda Delta. Ms. Davis truly enjoys her work with Scholars and Honors students at Cleveland State University.

Jami Derry received her B.A. in Political Science from Mount Union College in 2000. In 2002, she joined Cleveland Marshall College of Law as a part time night student. Jami finally graduated with her Juris Doctorate from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in December 2006. Soon after, she enrolled in the Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs where she earned her M.P.A. in December 2009.Jami has worked at CSU since July of 2003. She started her CSU career in the Center for International Services and Programs. In CISP, Jami acted as the Financial Coordinator. She joined the Honors Program Office in July 2010 where she holds the position of Administrative Coordinator. As the Administrative Coordinator, Jami’s top priority is to help Honors Students with all non-academic problems they may encounter.

Brooke Fischbach received her B.A. in Criminology and Sociology and Masters in Sociology from Cleveland State University in 2007 & 2011. She worked for Ohio State Parks for 30 years, and then worked part-time with the seniors for the City of Cleveland Heights. She joined the Honors staff in October of 2012 as the Secretary.
Anjali Barnick received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1989 from the University of MA – Dartmouth. She later earned her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Cleveland State University in 2003. After opening two Math and Reading Centers, and forming a non profit organization, she then began her PhD in Urban Education at Cleveland State University. Additionally, she is also earning her Masters in Global Interactions.
Currently she is the Graduate Assistant within the Honors Program, responsible for the data management for the Choose Ohio First / STEMM funding.
Dana is a Junior at Cleveland State. She is pursuing a Bachelor's in Finance, with a minor in Psychology. She is also a resident of Euclid Commons, and the Finance Chair of Viking Expeditions
Jeffrey Hirsch is a freshman at CSU and is studying Biology and is planning on going into research.
Valerie Yenco is currently a Junior here at Cleveland State University and is studying Nursing. In addition to her wonderful job at the Honors and Scholars Program, she is working at the Cleveland Clinic where she hopes to work as a nurse one day.
Annie Bartosh is a senior at Cleveland State University. She is studying Biology and Health Sciences for Pre-dentistry.
Bruce Colby is a sophomore at Cleveland State University and majoring in Computer Science. He works as a web editor for the Honors Program and a web assistant for the Academic Department. He enjoys coding everything from websites to software programs and hopes to be an expert in software engineering one day. When he isn’t spending all his time programming, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful fiancé at home.
