1. What is CSU Giving Day?
Cleveland State University's inaugural Giving Day is Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
CSU Giving Day is an online-based fundraising event that encourages CSU alumni and friends to support their favorite college, school or program in a 24-hour period. Our goal is to engage as many donors as possible on April 30th and to promote a friendly competition among the colleges to secure the most donors on this day.
2. Where will my gift go?
We encourage you to support your college's Annual Fund; however you may designate your gift to any college, program or account that you desire.
3. Will 100% of my gift go to my designated area?
4. Is there a minimum donation amount?
Yes, our online donation site accepts gifts of $5.00 or more.
5. Can a donor send a gift by mail or phone?
Due to the short timeframe of CSU Giving Day, only gifts by phone or online will count toward the goal of 525 donors. You can make a gift by phone at 216.687.3557 or you can send us a text and we'll call you.

6. Can I give via stock in support of Giving Day?
You can always give a stock gift to support your school or program. However, due to the short timeframe of CSU Giving Day, stock gifts will not count toward the contest goals or matching funds.
7. Is it safe to make my gift online?
Yes. The online giving pages at Cleveland State are secure. The information collected during the giving event is only used by CSU. It will not be sold or shared with any third party organizations.
8. Will my Giving Day contribution be tax deductible?
Yes. Your gift is entirely tax deductible. You will receive a receipt within 5-7 business days of your gift.
