Financial Aid

What to Expect After You File Your FAFSA

Student Aid Report (SAR)

You will receive a Student Aid Report (SAR) after your FAFSA has been processed. You should review this document for accuracy and keep it for your records. If you need to make corrections, you may do so by accessing your FAFSA on the web. If you need assistance making your corrections, please contact Campus411 All-in-1.

Verification

You may be selected for a process called verification, which is a process to confirm the information on the FAFSA.  Each year, the US Department of Education will select at random financial aid applicants to verify.  Also, CSU may select students, if we find conflicting information.

The process is very easy if, when requested, you provide/submit copies of the requested financial documents, such as a federal tax transcript or a birth certificate.  You can take them to Campus411 All-in-1 or fax them to 216.687.9247.  Please retain copies of any federal tax transcripts, untaxed benefit statements and asset information that you used to complete your FAFSA. Forms for verification are available to download.

Award Letter

A financial aid award notification is issued to you after your file is complete. The award states the types and amounts of aid for which you qualify at CSU and the semesters for which the aid can be used.  You should visit the Your Awards site for more information. The cost of education information can be found on the Student Consumer Information page.

You should contact Campus411 All-in-1 at 216.687.5411 or allin1@csuohio.edu if you need assistance.
