Law Students

Summer Aid Eligibility

  • If student is considering Pell Grant or Federal loan eligibility for the summer semester, please contact Campus 411 for eligibility review.

Summer Pell Grant eligibility

  • Student's may be eligible for the summer semester pending that the student did not use 100% of their allotment during the Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Full-time enrollment (12 or more credits per semester) = 50% Pell Grant
  • Three-quarters time enrollment (9, 10 or 11 credits per semester) = 37.5% Pell Grant
  • One-half - time enrollment (6, 7 or 8 credits per semester) = 25% Pell Grant
  • Less than one-half time (5 or less credits per semester) = 12.5% Pell Grant.

Summer Direct Stafford Loans

  • Eligibility is determined by the FAO, pending remaining loan, after the student completes the summer aid application. Student must be enrolled in 6 credits.

Summer PLUS loans (Parents of Dependent Student)

  • Student/Parent must complete a PLUS request form and submit the form for credit evaluation.

Summer University Scholarships

  • There are no scholarships offered in the summer unless your academic program or college offers the awards. Honors Program and Athletic Department awards are determined by those departments.

Summer Aid for Study Abroad

  • Student must have the Study Abroad Consortium agreement completed, and all appropriate approvals submitted in order to have your aid disbursed. Aid is based on the same eligibility standards as regularly enrolled CSU students

Summer Law Student financial aid

  • Student will be awarded any remaining Direct Stafford loan eligibility remaining and offered a Graduate PLUS loan.
  • Student must be enrolled in 6 Hrs. during the summer.
