Scholarship Renewal Eligibility and Reinstatement Process

Freshmen University Merit Scholarships (Presidential, Provost, Scholars, Opportunity, Voyager, Magnus, Viking, Green & White)

CSU Freshmen University Merit scholarships are awarded with the provision that the student continue to meet the guidelines that were defined when the student initially accepted or applied for the scholarship. Scholarship renewal eligibility is reviewed annually after the spring grades have been posted. If the student’s academic record indicates that the student is not in compliance with the terms of the scholarship provisions, the scholarship is not renewed. 

 

Transfer Merit Scholarships (Community College Transfer, Phi Theta Kappa, All-State)

CSU Transfer Merit scholarships are awarded with the provision that the student continue to meet the guidelines that were defined when the student initially accepted or applied for the scholarship. Scholarship renewal eligibility is reviewed annually after the spring grades have been posted. If the student’s academic record indicates that the student is not in compliance with the terms of the scholarship provisions, the scholarship is not renewed. 

 

How to Appeal the Loss of a Merit Scholarship

Students have the option to appeal the loss of their scholarship. The scholarship reinstatement request process begins with the completion of the Scholarship Reinstatement Petition Form.  The Petition must be completed and submitted online by clicking the link below:
