Parents: you and your older children are ready to learn about college life at CSU, but your younger ones just want to play and have fun. So why not let them spend the day with us at the CSU Recreation Center while you do your thing? This special day camp will allow your children to have a jammed packed day of arts and crafts, sports, and games. This is the best way to prevent their boredom during the Spring Open House and best of all it is absolutely FREE!

• FREE Registration (Camp space is limited to the first 50 registered campers)
• 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (drop-offs are accepted in the Student Center from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Recreation Center)
• Ages 5 to 15

Camp Staff and Safety

Junior Viking Day is facilitated by highly motivated and energetic students and professionals from the Department of Campus Recreation Services. All counselors and program leaders are required to have current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. In addition, all staff are trained on current child related topics and concerns. The safety of your child is our top priority. Our camper-to-staff ratio is 8:1 for all age groups. Staff members will have a first aid kit and two-way radio at all times so they are in constant contact with program leaders, camp directors, and facility supervisors in case of an emergency.
