At Cleveland State University, we encourage our students to stay healthy and safe all year round. Our Cleveland State Police Department, Health and Wellness Services and Counseling and Testing Center offer students a variety of services to assist them while they are on campus.
Cleveland State has its own police department that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The police department has a variety of services for students to use including the campus safety escorts, motorist assistance, first aid and medical transports, and much more. Cleveland State also offers the Alert Notification system to notify students via phone, email or text message of campus closings, emergencies or extreme weather conditions.
Our Health and Wellness Services Center provides the University with high quality, low cost health promotion and illness prevention. The Health and Wellness Services Center is staffed by two physicians and nurse practitioners. The Health & Wellness Services Center is open to all members of the University community: students, staff and faculty. Students are encouraged to make appointments in advance.
