Orientation for Transfer Students


Transfer Orientation allows you to come to campus, learn about CSU and meet other new students!

Attend a Cleveland State Transfer Orientation program to learn about Cleveland State and its services, and to get your CSU career started in the right direction! All Transfer Orientation programs are optional, but highly recommended. Choose the Orientation program (or programs) that's right for you, and then sign up.

Option 1: On-Campus Transfer Orientation

Transfer Orientation is designed to introduce you to all of Cleveland State's services and other new CSU students in a convenient afternoon program. It includes getting your Cleveland State ID card, a campus tour, and information on academics, parking, financial aid, tuition, career services, student life, and more. Dates: Specific dates are listed on CampusNet.
Time: 1:00pm-5:00pm
Cost: $20 per student, $10 per guest

Special Note: Academic advising is not included in this program. We strongly encourage students to meet with their advisor prior to Orientation.

Option 2: Online Transfer Orientation

If you are not able to come to campus for Transfer Orientation we recommend that you check out our Online Transfer Orientation. Online Transfer Orientation will take you step by step through the process of becoming a CSU student and getting your CSU career started in the right direction!

Class Schedule Tours

Join us on the Friday before Fall and Spring Semesters for a Class Schedule Tour. Class Schedule Tours are an opportunity for you to find your classrooms so you're prepared for the first day of classes while also reconnecting with your Orientation Leaders. More information will be emailed to you prior to the start of the semester.
