Orientation is designed for students who have made their decision to attend Cleveland State University. At Orientation, we will provide you with all the information you need in a convenient and precise way. Expect to meet new people and learn about the University.
Orientation is a mandatory, two-day program designed to welcome you to campus and prepare you to be a Cleveland State student. Current high school students or high school graduates who have not attended college are required to attend Orientation.
Attend a Cleveland State Transfer Orientation program to learn about Cleveland State and its services, and to get your CSU career started in the right direction! All Transfer Orientation programs are optional, but highly recommended. Choose the Orientation program (or programs) that's right for you, and then sign up.
Students enrolling in a graduate program at Cleveland State may be required to participate in an orientation program. Orientation programs for graduate students vary depending on the program of study. Students should contact their academic program for information on orientation. Graduate assistants and tuition grant recipients should visit the Graduate Assistant Orientation Program web page for information.
International students enrolling at Cleveland State are required to participate in an orientation program. For details, visit the Center for International Services and Programs or call 216.687.3910 with any questions.
