All Cleveland State students are required to purchase a parking hangtag in order to park on campus. Cleveland State offers two types of parking passes for student parkers.

• Daily Usage (Must Pay) Tag – This hang tag is free and allows students to pay a fee every time they visit campus. Please refer to the Parking website for designated Daily Usage lots. Students can park in most lots at any time and in Lot CG after 2:00pm. A Daily Usage tag is more economical for students who plan to be on campus two times or less per week.
• Pre-Paid Tag – Hang tags are purchased in advance and expire at the end of each semester. These tags offer student parkers more campus parking choices, are more economical for students who plan to be on campus more than twice per week, and allow for all hours and weekend parking. Students can use this tag in Lot SG with their Viking Card.
• Overnight Parking – Commuter students who need to park on campus overnight must purchase an Overnight Parking Decal.  These decals must be used in conjunction with a prepaid parking hangtag.

How to Purchase Your Parking Pass

Students have two options to purchase a parking pass:

1. Purchase your parking pass online. Go to the “Parking” tab on CampusNet. Students will need to enter their license plate number and vehicle make and model when purchasing their parking pass. If students purchase their parking pass before two weeks prior to the start of the semester, the parking pass will be mailed directly to the student’s address in CampusNet. After that time, purchased parking passes can be picked up in the Parking Office. Pre-Paid, Overnight  and Daily Usage permits can be obtained  via CampusNet.
2. Purchase your parking pass in the Parking Services Office. Parking Services is located in Euclid Commons on the northeast corner of E. 24th and Euclid (across from Fenn Tower). Students will need their license plate number and vehicle make & model when purchasing their parking passes. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check, or credit card.

Campus Map

The campus map displays all the parking locations. The campus core is bordered by Euclid Avenue to the South, the Innerbelt freeway to the East, Chester Avenue to the North, and East 17th Street to the West. Student Pre-Paid parkers may park in core lots WG, EG, and CG at any time as well as G and F after 2:00pm daily. Arrivals after 9:00am can expect to park in the South Garage on peak days (Mondays and Wednesdays). Disabled parking spaces are available in most lots on campus. Lots C and CC are totally restricted to vehicles with state issued disability hangtags.

Residence Hall Parking

Residents of Fenn Tower, Euclid Commons and Heritage Suites will be assigned to park in either the Prospect or South Garage. Residents are required to complete the "Resident Student Parking Form" and submit it to Parking Services.

South Garage

The South Garage is located on East 21st Street near Prospect Avenue. Pre-Paid tag holders can park by using their Viking Card. Lot SG is automated and accepts cash, and credit and debit cards.
