Work site field trips are one of the core activities of the UTC outreach effort. On May 13th, 2008, 5th and 6th grade Science Olympiad teams from Shaker Height's Woodbury Elementary traveled to a construction site on US 20 in Painesville under the auspices of a Garrett Morgan grant. Great Lakes Construction (GLC) hosted the event, complete with a personal engineering lesson from CEO George Palko.
