Competitive merit award for an incoming fall 2013 semester freshman who is directly admitted to the Cleveland State University Fenn College of Engineering.
High school seniors will compete based on their ACT or SAT scores. A minimum score of 24 ACT or 1090 SAT is required for eligibility. Scores will be retrieved from the student’s application to CSU.
In the event where two or more applicants provide the exact scores, an essay will be required to enable the scholarship committee to make a final selection. The Ambrose scholarship application priority deadline is May 1, 2013.

Award:

Full in-state tuition and fees for 2013-2014 freshman year. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and full-time status in a CSU engineering program is required. The Ambrose scholarship may be renewable for consecutive years based on funding availability..

Eligibility Requirements:
Must transfer from a Community College
Admission to CSU Engineering or Engineering Technology Programs
Minimum Community College grade point average of 3.0.
Minimum grade average of 3.0 in math and/or science courses.
Minimum one semester of completed coursework from community college
Must register for minimum 8 credit hours for first semester at CSU.
