Cleveland State University Chemical Engineering Seniors, Zakaria Benmerzouga, Jeremy Miller, and Andrew Zak, won the 2014 National AIChE Team Design Competition!
Each year, chemical engineers from a designated company devise and judge a student contest problem that typifies a real, working, chemical engineering design situation. The problem's solution requires a wide range of skills in calculation and evaluation of both technical data and economic factors.
More than 120+ Chemical Engineering Programs are invited annually to submit entries for a Process Design Competition. This year a team of CSU Seniors placed first.
Congratulations to Andrew, Jeremy, and Zak ! Their award includes a cash prize and award plaques for each member. Design Competition winners also will be recognized at the 2014 AIChE Annual Student Conference, Nov. 14-18, in Atlanta, Georgia.
The award itself will be presented during the Student Awards Ceremony,
