Graduate Program

The Master of Science in Industrial Engineering program is designed not only to enable students to continue their professional development beyond the bachelor's degree and prepare them for higher levels of responsibility, but also to provide a foundation for doctoral study in engineering. MSIE students may select one of four program tracks (General MSIE, Engineering Management, Manufacturing, or Quality). For more information, click HERE

You do not need an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering to earn a graduate degree in our program. Many successful industrial engineers, including some of our faculty, have undergraduate degrees in other engineering disciplines. The Doctor of Engineering degree is granted in recognition of high achievement in scholarship and an ability to apply engineering fundamentals to the solution of complex technical problems. Students are expected to pursue a broad program of study, pass a comprehensive general examination, and submit an innovative, high-quality applied engineering dissertation.
