Frank J. Ambrose Engineering Scholarship  Application
Criteria: Competitive merit award for a freshman interested in majoring in engineering.
High school seniors will compete based on their ACT or SAT scores.  A minimum score of 24 ACT or 1090 SAT is required for eligibility.
In the event where two or more applicants provide the exact scores, an essay will be required to enable the scholarship committee to make a final selection. 
Award: One renewable scholarship award of full in-state tuition and fees for up to eight semesters  (4 years).
Full-time status, and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in a CSU engineering program is required for annual renewal.

Albert Branham Scholarship
Eligibility: All engineering majors. Applicant must: Be an underrepresented minority student. Complete application and have a Faculty recommendation.
Amount: One $1300 Scholarship

Charles J. Stilwell Cooperative Education Scholarship
Eligibility: All majors. Applicant must: Be junior or senior level in 2006-07 academic year; Have a min. 2.7 g.p.a.; Have completed at least two co-op or internship semesters; Complete application. Decision will be based upon quality of student's co-op report, employer evaluation and academic record.
Amount: Two $1000 Scholarships.

Eugene & Frances Klingshirn Award
Eligibility: All majors. Applicant must: Be at least sophomore level by Fall 2006; Complete an application and submit a faculty recommendation.
Amount: One $700 award.

Ohio Space Grant Consortium
Eligibility: All majors. Applicant must: Be U.S. citizen; Have a minimum 3.0 g.p.a.; Have at least one full year of coursework to complete; Complete application, which includes a plan for a research project.
Amount: Junior awards at $2000 each, and Senior awards at $3000 each. Graduate fellowships (masters and doctoral) also available.

Silent Hoist & Crane Company Prize Award for Materials Handling
Eligibility: All engineering majors. Applicant must: Be at least sophomore level; Have min. 3.0 g.p.a.; Submit an application and original 6-8 page paper on a topic related to Materials Handling. Details on requirements of the paper are on the application.
Amount: Three Scholarships:1st Place: $4000 2nd Place: $2000 3rd Place: $1000

S & Z Tool & Die Company
Eligibility: Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Students. Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible. Women and minorities are encouraged to apply. Applicants can be full or part-time enrolled. Must complete minimum 24 credits by Fall 2006; minimum 2.8 g.p.a. Two faculty letters of recommendation are required.
Amount: Two $5000 Scholarships

Dr. William A. Patterson Scholarship
Eligibility: Engineering and Math majors. Applicant must: Be enrolled full-time. Be at least sophomore status as of Fall 2006. Min. 3.0 g.p.a. Be a resident of Greater Cleveland. Complete application, essay, and a faculty recommendation.
Amount: One $1000 Scholarship

Washington Group International Scholarships
Eligibility: All engineering majors. Applicant must: Be sophomore, junior, or senior status by 2006-07 academic year; Have a min. of one full year of coursework at full-time status to complete before graduation; Have a min. 3.0 g.p.a.; Be a resident of Greater Cleveland area. Complete application, essay, and possible interview.
Amount: Three $1000 Scholarships
