Fenn Academy established a new Student Ambassadors Program when it enrolled fifteen engineering students into the program. Participating students will assist with recruiting activities both on and off campus, and attend open houses, alumni events, fundraising dinners, corporate networking workshops, and other University activities. Students also serve as guest presenters at campus events, welcoming parents and new students to the campus, and encouraging students to pursue their engineering career goals.
Many of these students are also leaders in Fenn’s engineering student chapter organizations, including the Society of Women Engineers, the National Society of Black Engineers, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Joint Engineering Council, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Institute of Industrial Engineers, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. The leadership skills that Fenn Student Ambassadors learn while participating in these organizations will help their professional development. These students will be excellent representatives of Fenn Academy.
