FENN CO-OP PROGRAM

 
Cooperative Education is an exciting opportunity to apply academics, learn engineering by working alongside professional engineers and gain experience in progressively challenging technical positions
The Fenn Co-op Program (co-op) is a structured, academic program that integrates classroom studies with paid, productive, real-life work experiences. Co-op experiences also allow students to begin their professional careers while in school by exposing them to the various environments in which engineers operate on a daily basis. Typically completing three or four semesters of Co-op, engineering students have found employment with government agencies, industrial manufacturers, consulting firms, and other private engineering enterprises.
   
Students receive numerous benefits by entering the engineering profession while still in school through co-op, including the opportunity to:
  • Pretest career choices.
  • Link classroom and workplace.
  • Practice selling your skills.
  • Network with future employers
Since the founding of Fenn College in 1923, engineering students have started their professional careers through cooperative education experiences. By participating in the Cooperative Education Program, you will join this proud tradition in practical education
