CSU ChE-BME welcomes Dr. Moo-Yeal Lee !

We are proud to announce that Dr. Moo-Yeal Lee has joined our faculty ranks. Dr. Lee holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institue of Science and Technology (KAIST). He has over 43 publications, and 12 patents and patent applications. Prior to joining CSU, he was senior research engineer and group leader at Solidus Biosciences, Inc., a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry with applications of microarray biochips.

2013 AIChE Salary Survey

Chemical engineering salaries have increased 9% since 2011. According to the 2013 survey the median salary of $120,000 from the reporting respondents.

The Washkewicz College of Engineering, a private institution founded in 1923, has enjoyed its reputation for excellence long before the founding of Cleveland State University. The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at CSU has since grown as an integral part of the degree-granting departments in the Washkewicz College of Engineering. The Undergraduate Program in concert with one of the most successful Cooperative Education Programs in the country, offer an attractive avenue to further your education. Full-time faculty and graduate students work actively in modern Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Research laboratories. The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering also administers specializations in Chemical Engineering and Applied Biomedical Engineering (ABE) as part of the Doctor of Engineering Program in the College of Engineering.

In addition to local chemical companies, the Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Department maintains continuing relationships with The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, The Ohio Aerospace Institute, and the NASA Glenn Research Center.
