Research Interests

Professor Chatzimavroudis' research interests are in the areas of biofluid mechanics and cardiovascular imaging mechanics. The aims are:

  1. To improve the understanding of blood flow patterns in the heart and vessels.
  2. To connect the characteristics of blood flow patterns to cardiovascular disease.
  3. To develop improved imaging techniques for reliable diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.
