College Lecturer - Chemical and Biomedical Engineering

The Department of Chemical & Biomedical Engineering of the Washkewicz College of Engineering at Cleveland State University invites applications for a non-tenured full-time Lecturer position.

This position is to fill the teaching needs in our growing undergraduate Chemical Engineering program. Candidates must hold a graduate degree in chemical engineering or a related field and have significant teaching experience. Preference will be given to applicants who have a doctoral degree, engineering experience in the chemical or related industries, and experience in teaching engineering courses. The successful candidate will be expected to teach lower and upper level undergraduate engineering courses teach, as well as supervising and managing undergraduate instructional laboratories. The position will commence August 2015.

The Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering offers Bachelors, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in Chemical Engineering, as well as Biomedical Engineering degrees at the Masters level and Doctoral level through a joint program with the Lerner Research Institute of the Cleveland Clinic. The Department is part of the Washkewicz College of Engineering at CSU, which is in the heart of downtown Cleveland and recently underwent a $500 million dollar renovation.
