April 4th marked the annual Fenn College State of the College Address and Steel Ring and Awards Ceremony. Awards were presented to representatives of every engineering discipline as well as members of the greater engineering community in Northeast Ohio.

Interim Dean Ghorashi also presented his annual State of the College address, which can be read in full here or viewed here.

The U.S Steel Ring, Order of the Engineer ceremony, originally initiated at CSU’s Fenn College in 1970, is upheld through the current day. The Order of the Engineer is intended to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession. Once new members have recited the pledge, they officially swear to uphold the ethical creeds of this nationally recognized institution for the duration of their engineering careers.
