Deans' Diversity Councils

The Deans’ Diversity Councils are assemblages of faculty, staff and external stakeholders who meet regularly to design, implement and monitor strategies that address diversity challenges and opportunities in each of the University’s colleges. Members are appointed by the respective Deans of the Colleges. Annually, each Deans’ Diversity Councils identifies two strategies it will pursue based upon the goals of the Diversity Action Plan, the guidance of the President’s Council on Diversity, and the needs of the College. The Office of Inclusion and Multicultural Engagement provides technical and financial support to assist the Councils in their endeavors.
