CSU Group Visit!

CSU is proud to provide opportunities for groups of college-bound students to visit our dynamic, urban campus. Group visits are designed for groups of 15 or more students visiting together through high schools, college-preparation programs, outreach programs, and similar organizations.

Scheduling a Group Visit

  • Group visits are offered most weekdays (Monday through Friday) at 12 PM.
  • Visits must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance.
  • We will do our best to work with your group’s requests. However, due to holidays and university events,
some dates may not be available.
  • We can accommodate up to 80 students plus chaperones on a group visit.
  • One chaperone must be provided for every 15 students visiting.
  • Students in grades 7 and up are permitted.¬†High school groups have priority over younger student groups.
  • One week prior to your visit, final details for your visit, parking instructions, and a campus map will be provided via email.

Special Requests

  • We may be able to accommodate groups larger than 80 if requested in advance.
  • Please indicate if your group has students or visitors requiring special accommodations.
  • Eating lunch on campus is a great way to experience CSU campus dining. If your group plans to enjoy lunch on our campus, please let us know so that we may plan accordingly. All visiting groups can receive a 20% off campus dining coupon for the day of their visit.

Your CSU Group Visit

  • Your group visit begins with a 30-minute information session in our new, state-of-the-art Welcome Center. During this time, you will learn about CSU admissions, campus life, downtown living, engaged learning, and financial aid.
  • Following the information session, your group will go on a one-hour campus tour of our dynamic, urban university. Your group will experience campus sites — such as the Recreation Center, the Innerlink system, academic spaces and the Student Center — all while learning about CSU from current CSU students.
  • Requirements:
    • Please be on time for your visit. Otherwise we cannot ensure that your group will experience all that CSU offers our visitors.
    • Chaperones must stay with students at all times.
    • Please dress appropriately, keeping in mind there will be extensive walking as well as periods of time spent outside during the campus tour.
    • Students and visitors are to be respectful of admissions staff and student tour guides, as well as mindful of CSU students who are living and learning on our campus.
    • Groups who do not comply with these requests, will be subject to review at the time of any future visit requests.
