From admissions to student photo ID cards, East Center offers students a pleasant, trouble-free, one-stop service center. The information below details the services available for all East Center students.

TEXTBOOK PURCHASE

Refund Policy

All refunds and exchanges must be accompanied by a CSU Bookstore purchase receipt or packing list. Refunds may be shipped to the CSU Bookstore for processing at the customer's expense or accomplished in person at the bookstore.

Please Note that textbooks will not be sold at the East Center

Academic Advising

Advising is available at the East Center for new, prospective, and transfer students. Our academic counselors can advise you in the following areas: Graduate Education, Undergraduate and Graduate Business, and Undergraduate all majors. An appointment is necessary. Copy Machine
A copy machine is available to students in the Administrative Office, Room 200, during regular office hours. Copies are 10 cents each.

Handicap Access
The East Center is handicap accessible.

Library & Research via Computer
The University Library provides a variety of services for off-campus students including delivery of library books, journal articles via e-mail, or U.S. mail. Off-campus students can visit the University Library web site for more information.

Tuition Payments
There are several payment options available to students. For information on the Budget Payment Plan (BPP) or Employer Tuition Reimbursement Deferred Payment Plan, visit the Office of Treasury Services web site. Payments will no longer be accepted by mail or fax. They may be paid online. Once registered, you can check your account online and make your payment directly to the Office of Treasury Services. MasterCard and Discover credit cards are accepted; Visa is not. The fax number is 216.687.3619. East Center cannot accept tuition payments.

Placement Testing
Placement testing is required for all new freshmen and transfer students in Mathematics and English. Testing is available at the Testing Center, Rhodes Tower West 289 on the main campus. Walk-in hours are Monday - Thursday, 9-3; Friday 9-11 a.m. Testing is also available at the East Center, beginning spring semester 2008. An appointment is necessary; no walk-in hours available. Please call 216-802-3000 for an appointment at the East Center.

Student Lounge
Two vending machines supplying beverages and snacks are available in the lounge. There is also a coffee machine offering fresh coffee and hot chocolate.

Computers
Computers are available for student use in the Student Lounge, Room 207, Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m.-7:45 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.( 7:45 p.m. when Friday night classes are in session), and Saturday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Hours are subject to change.

East Center Laptop Loaner Program
Five laptops are now available for your use while you are at the East Center. If you find yourself waiting for a computer in the student lounge, come and get a laptop! They are wireless and may be borrowed for up to 4 hours. Come to suite 200 for more information.

Viking Card (CSU ID)
The Viking Card is provided to every enrolled student at Cleveland State. The Viking Card is useful for accessing various University programs and services. To receive a Viking Card, have your picture taken in Room 200 and verify your identification with another form of photo ID. Your card will be available for pick up within two weeks.

CampusNet
Access this user friendly site from the Cleveland State University homepage (www.csuohio.edu) to conduct business with the University. You can register for classes, add and drop classes, view and print your schedule, pay your bill, request transcripts, forward your campus email, view grades, and more. To access the site you will need your CSU ID number and password.

East Center Updates Via Email
East Center sends periodic emails to East Center students (using Cleveland State email addresses) regarding events occurring at the Center and important reminders. Please check your email regularly, or forward your Cleveland State email to your personal email address. Both your email and home addresses can be changed using CampusNet.

Parking
Free parking is available to all East Center students.

Recycling
Please take advantage of our recycling program. Containers are located throughout the Center and are labeled for specific items.

Help us keep our facility clean and neat and give the environment a boost at the same time.
